No blue pens allowed? (1 Viewer)

My friend told me the old grannies read some rules about blue pens then went around and checked to make sure everyone had a black pen and if you had a blue pen it was taken from you. Not sure if anyone else had this happen but according to the board of studies guidelines it's acceptable to use black or blue pens.

(c) write preferably with black pen but blue pen is also acceptable. Pencil may
be used only where specifically directed.

nah im certain blue pens are allowed
Yeah that is what i thought until my friend posted a status on facebook saying they took away their blue pens during her Drama exam, maybe that was because there was only like 8 of them and black was easier to mark?

It is just because sometimes they scan things and blue maybe fade unlike black which is picked up easily.

Your booklet says you can use blue.

ya to confirm blue is ok but they do prefer black as often markers work in dim lighting and are tired and it is just hard to read esp if you are using one of those super thin asian pens

Blue is ok. So long as it isn't hot pink, but yeah.
