yep nod is supposed to be really good.

it's on the main comp in my house, and so far we've had no problems at all with it on there. it was recommended to us by a friend with a computer business.

and norton is pretty hopeless.

you can download a 30 day trial from their website. i think it's just www.nod32.com

it's not free is it though...

for a home user that little bit of speed doesn't really matter.

thing is, all antiviruses, can stuff up from time to time. i agree with the AVG i use it and it picks up everything so far, but then again there has been issues with it, with the updating part of it. nortan is slow and takes up to much room and runs a lot of things in the back ground. one thing that an anti virus can get confused with is the firewall so you got to be careful and if you notice it does this, reinstall or use a different one for a while till they update again or something. ive had a lot of experiences from a lot of different anti viruses and spybots and all that, and i reckon AVG is the best for most people, if not all. and i havnt really got a view on spyware protection as i never really use them and i should but i dont know a free one.

nod32 is not the best.
there is no best antivirus you fool. all have their falts.

go download a crack/keygen and try them all for yourself.

personally i use avg (cracked) with updates
and superantispyware/ superadblocker

i find they work well together

I love NOD32.

I have it on all my computers including my lappy. When i bought my lappy and 1 of my PCs they both had Norton as soon as i got them home off Norton came and on with NOD32.

Its awesome. Haven't had any problems.
And the speed of it is fantastic.

No bad things to say about it.
