Handwritten. I remember it easier and i find hand writing easier to memorise and read. It makes it more interesting to an extent. However with assignments, particularly if the area of study and or the topic you did is relevant to an upcoming exam, which was the case for me, typed is much easier to read and skim through.

Honestly i type mine, useing a program form Microsoft called OneNote 2007.

It dosent cost much and it works just like a book.

I think handwritten notes are better.
I can remember my handwritten notes better than typed notes.

But I guess handwriting takes longer than typing.

It's just my personal preference to use handwritten notes.

ive done both but i rekon hand written is essentially better because it goes subconsciously into your brain.. learning it as you write :)
but typing looks neater and takes up less space... soooo in the long run typing would be best.
i actually do both: i hand write the things that i need to know, THEN type it out.. if i have time before the exam which is usually the day after :p
gotta change my habits :(
