Get used to what teachers look for in exams-
-Multiple choice will test your grip of the key content
-Short answer questions look for short term effects
-Essay questions look for long term effects and lots of stats.
Whether or not you make notes for the content is up to you - there are arguments for and against
But i would recommend you to make notes for statistics. Especially for your case study. Textbooks don't especially provide the most up to date stats
