My was due on the day of one of my trial exams so i was so tired and at the same time relived. my brother worked out that i had spent over 200 hours on it (many of them spent doing nothing) and the total cost came to $106. I love my project though at that same time i hate it.

You girls make me wanna cry TwT They are look amazing and incredibly gorgeous >w< You guys must be proud of yourselves <333 Mine looks so.... crap compared to everyone elses xD

I could care less about getting my work into Texstyles... but I do hope I achieved a band 6 result with my work. It was sooo rushed tho >_> I wish I didn't procrastinate so much throughout the year. I didn't even complete the book properly, since I was rushing it @ 8am with no sleep for 56 hours during that time. I think I must've lost heaps of marks for the folio >_> I should've started that earlier!!! @____@

Anyways, here's mine ^^

Yea... I was stupid enough to work on 4 other costumes that year while doing my MTP >_> I need to get my priorities straight XD

haha wow, all of those are really nice and different,
i made i guess what you could call a three piece suit,
i made a coat, i altered a jacket pattern
and drafted both the top and skirt pattern.

an art deco inspired singlet/top. a duchess satin coat, fully lined. skirt with hidden attachments strip.

The skirt was soo much work. I have a wide hem band where there is pleated detailing. It was a never ending line of sewing. As the length of the hem is a mere 6 metres. (note my sarcasm) LOL. chiffon too, a bitch to sew when you want really straight and structured seams. but i love textiles. i love it so much i couldnt imagine doing anything else.

I think my concept was somethign about not having to spend a lot of money to have nice clothes and somethign aobut being ecologically friendly something like that. haha

pictures :)

the last two pictures are close ups of the fluffly thing which if i remember correctly is about 37 rows of gathered chiffon/crepe. very very time consuming.
