I want leave my first match with my sister without getting harassed. Bulldog matches have a history of hooliganism and I'm basing it on that.

if youre being serious - then you can usually buy tickets at the game.

unless its a blockbuster whered youd wanna book the week ahead.

or if you want 50m seats, then you best book now as well. usually through ticketek but some teams arent affiliated with them so call the home club up and ask.

My sister wants to see a Dragon's game that's close by so it's this week's Panther's game or the early August match against the Eels. How much are tickets usually? Do I have to book? How and where?
Chances are that it's going to be raining on Saturday night.

I braved the downpour at Oki Jubilee on Friday night, but it would be dumb to get your sister standing in the rain to watch a match. Especially one that will be as low-quality as what I think Panthers vs Dragons will be this weekend.

So General Admission tickets is probably out of the equation -- I think Penrith's GA area is the grass behind the posts on both sides .. perhaps it has changed since the recent upgrade.

In which case, pre-purchasing tickets in the main grandstand is the way to go. Not sure if you have to be a Panthers member for those seats, I've never been to Penrith Football Stadium (CUA Stadium now) before so I don't know the setup.

Buying two grandstand tickets would probably be 60 dollars, though. 30 dollars a ticket seems ok, considering I paid 22 for my General Admission one on Friday. Sucks being an adult. If your sister is under 16, I think she gets concession prices.

Maitua Re-signs for Three Years
Source: www.bulldogs.com.au

Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs player Reni Maitua will stay at the Club for at least another three years, having re-signed until the end of the 2009 season.

Maitua, 23, a member of the 2004 Grand Final-winning team has proved a valuable utility player for the Bulldogs filling the positions of second row, lock, five eighth and centre over the past two-and-a-half seasons in first grade.

Commenting on the signing, Bulldogs coach Steve Folkes said, "It's good news. Reni is a quality player and I'm impressed that he has shown loyalty to the Bulldogs and to his team mates.

"He is obviously confident that we can perform well over the next few years and we're confident that he has it in him to be a representative player."

Maitua said, "I'm lucky to be playing with such a great bunch of guys so I'm really happy to be staying at the Bulldogs."

He added, "I'm relieved the whole negotiation process is over and I can now concentrate on my performance on the field."

Maitua joined the Bulldogs in 2002 and has played 97 Club games, 47 of those in First Grade.

Bulldogs CEO Malcolm Noad said, "Reni's form over the last month has been fantastic and he has the potential to be an influential leader in the team over the next few years."

Told ya so.

Yep, Maitua with the Dogs for another three years, lucky I got in with the adjusted information a few days in advance :p

Also, Willie Tonga has re-signed with the Dogs for two years .. I'm not sure if it's been on the news yet, but it's happened.

Simon Woolford has signed with the Dragons, it will be announced in a week or two. Not sure how long the contract is, probably 1/2 years.

Asotasi looking more and more likely to leave the Dogs and head to ESL; same story with Luke Patten. Souths player Todd Polglase is looking to go back to the Dogs.

Storm player Jake Webster is almost certainly going to Gold Coast Titans next year; his teammate Steve Turner is going to either Titans or Tigers next year.

Cowboys are now looking seriously at Jamie Lyon.

Dragons looking at Evan Tuiamavave from the Warriors.

No peachey. No. Why play against the team you said you could never face. That sucks some serious ass. I think the sharks should just sign him next year.

Souths didn't deserve to win. The only reason they didn't get belted is because the Broncos are missing so many players.

Now they are going to think they are really awesome when they are still just as pathetic as they have been the whole season.

omg!! the Rabbitohs won a game!!! They looked a lot more organised with David Peachey in their side against Canberra last week, so perhaps it is not such a big surprise that Souths were able to put in a good performance against a depleted Brisbane side. Go the Bulldogs on Monday against Canberra!! :).

Souths fully deserved to win. You should realise that Souths were missing 9 regular first-graders through injury themselves.

Congratulations to the Bunnies. Hopefully they can win another few matches throughout the season. As long as they don't beat us in a few weeks, I'm fine :)

Dragons had another win, four in a row now. And missing eight regular first graders against a nearly full-strength Penrith side .. ah, only two points off the lead right now, but Melbourne will probably win today and push the gap to four again.
