Since I've been away in Ireland there has been a severe lacking in Luke Covelling. Why is that?

Ahwell, I cant get on the internet much but its always funny to read the completely irrelevant stuff that gets written in the offseason. And its always funny to read about Brogan and his penis... maybe that deserves its own thread?

Ahwell, any new Shark news, Bookie?

Brogan, that news saddens me. Its just no fun if there are no trolls. You people make it intresting and make people mad (like myself,once.). So for your sake I hope you can get back to your trolling ways.

And Wests were shit... very disappointing. Even the sharks would of been better. EVEN the sharks... come on, thats saying something.

Ahhh Bookie. The Deluded one. We'll see what Albert has done at the end of the season. Hopefully he can make me a believer too. I'd rathe Nigel "Head Hunter" Vagana any day.

And how you been Dave strahan or whatever you code name is?

Craig Gower is at Penrith but won't get the captaincy back. So the players are having a "bonding session".

I can just see the headlines the day after - "Penrith Disgrace: Got Tanked, Raped Some Chicks, Shit in the Woods". Bonding session my arse.

I'm quite alright, Eoin.

Well, to tell you the truth, I'm bored out of my mind.

I can hardly wait for university to start. I can hardly wait for the new NRL season to start.

Argh, I should give my girlfriend a call. But it's late. Goddamnit.

How is the United Kingdom? Sort of un-united?

Bored, aye? Well, I get bored easily out here. My job is sooooooooo boring, but theres good times to. Like last night, went out and well, the rest is history. But i do remember it clearly.

But its weird, i feel so detatched from my friends. Its hard when theres nobody to just joke with. other than my cousins, but I have to say, they arent really my friends. Only 2 of them I would consider friends.

But yes, like you, I am greatly lookin forward to the beginning of the NRL season. Its time to see my Sharks win a few games. Maybe we can finish with a record above 50%.... ahh, a boy can dream.

Oh, and rumour has it that the dragons are going to have a bad season... dont mean to put a downer on your team. its just what i heard.

Anyway, why are you lookin forward to uni so much? it justs means work, right? I'd rather just bum around all day and go out at night... But I guess we're all different

What is your job? And more specifically, tell me about last night! Did you find yourself a hawwwwt ladyfriend?

And yeah, I could understand that being on the OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD would make you feel sort of detached from the friends you've left behind. Family get boring to stay with and talk to. You're screwed :-D

Meh, Dragons ALWAYS have a bad season. Nothing new. Creagh is already out for the first few matches, as is Best AND Matty Head. Supposedly.

Sharks .. well, we'll see. They should be around the same place they were last season. If they can hold off running out of gas for another few weeks during season proper, they could nail a top four spot. But I dunno.

Why look forward to uni? Well, it means I get to see two of my three best friends every day again .. well, four days of the week. It means I get to actually exercise my mind again, which has turned into some sort of mush .. urgh. It means I get to make new friends. It means I get to be away from my family again. It means I get to LEARN. It means freedom. It means fun. It means EVERYTHING.

umm well i heard, that a move to the storm might be the plan for Gower. which in return will free up room for Lang to take the unhappy Dykes to penrith, to form a preston - dykes halve combination.

nothings confirmed, its just speculation at this stage. but i guess it kinda makes sense

I wouldnt be looking forward to uni personally! You always think 'Man its so boring, I want to go back to uni to do something' during every break and then when you go back your like 'Ah damn Id prefer to be at home bludging and not having to hand in assignments, do homework and study for tests'.

As for season 06, provided Dykes stays with the sharks I think we can push for a top 4 spot..... we've got some decent players in the side this season and we can only hope that in the times where they need to dig deep they will draw some inspiration from the legacy of Steve Rogers! If Dykes goes, I cant see us doing much without a specialist 5/8 and putting in Vagana.......... not only cos he cant keep up with the physical demands (Eg Finals against Dragons, he was struggling after 20mins) but because we are already struggling for decent centres and we cant afford him not to be their!

On Dykes, I think he will stay.... there are rumours he will go to the panthers, but I think the bad times at the club have passed and hes settling back in (I HOPE SO AT LEAST!)
