Thoughts on joining the NSWPF? Whose going straight after school?
I plan on gaining a degree in criminology either at Macquarie or UNSW and then going off to the academy in 3 years..
Whats everyone else's plans?

I have a friend doing this: http://future.uws.edu.au/future_students_home/ug/policing/bachelor_of_criminology at UWS and she likes it a lot. Apparently the workload is a lot; but she finds it rewarding

I have a cousin that's a police officer and has a specialist role, he works as a helicopter pilot for Polair in Sydney (I think they call it Special Constable or something like that), anyway when he finished high school he applied to the academy at the age of 18 and 4 months to undertake the 'Associate Degree in Policing Practice' he said some aspects of it was hard such as fitness in some cases but at the end is worth it.

I've certainly looked into the NSW PF.
They seem to have stopped taking law grads through their accelerated prosecutors program which is a shame.
Perhaps they'll resume it in time for me when I Graduate
Or maybe i'll just go in through the standard entry and do my general duties.
