Obtuse angles (1 Viewer)

are we likely to be tested on obtuse angles in the exams?

eg

-cos y = cos (180 - y)

-if sin y is positive is it acute or obtuse

or watever those questions are like

any help would be great

It's part of the syllabus in the M6 topic on non-right angled triangles.

It's probably more important to know how to deal with obtuse angles as part of the sine or cosine rule.
