Next term depending on how successful this one is, I may do a Pre-HSC Meat where I will give all the Year 12's one final mock HSC Trial and have seminars going over them.

Potentially TOO many people because we don't have the Darug room from start to end.

My proposed solution: Have two groups. One who will be there the whole time, and another that will come during lunch time.

So morning group has breakfast to socialise and afternoon group has lunch to socialise.

I might also ask some people what it is like doing certain subjects. We have our subject selection meeting tomorrow which is when we get the form and we are told the subjects that the school offers. We have all holidays to think about it

What areas of mathematics are you most interested in Fus Ro Dah?

At the moment, leaning towards Analysis moreso anything else. Not really the Calculus-ish Analysis where it's just mindless computations for the most part, but I'm talking about deeper definitions, Series and nice integrals like the Gaussian Integral or the Sine Integral. It's strange, I like Analysis but I have a bit of a distaste towards Calculus, even though it is heavily Analysis-based. I hope you get what I mean.

Are you talking about Differential Geometry? I flicked through a book on it the other day and it really seems to be heavily reliant on Metric Spaces and more advanced Vector Calculus.

Amongst other things. The two most obvious directions calculus can take us are to differential geometry via vector calculus, and to complex analysis which can be one of the most beautiful branches of mathematics.
