ok serious question: the new blackboard system (1 Viewer)

I don't know if someone has already posted something on this. But what do all you Macers think about the new blackboard system.


I dont think its that bad... but my boyfriend tends to think its useless compared to webct. I do find it a little slow but it isn't too bad is it?

What do you guys think? hmmm

We don't get stars to indicate new content. It's crap because I waste so much time going to every unit's page, looking for new content.

I miss WebCT.

Technically the 'structure' of it is slightly easier, but things like the 'star' plain not working, and not being able to instantly view forum threads in proper 'thread' format like we have here is frustrating.

Even though I've never used it, I'm always on facebook nonetheless, so I might check it out haha.

Actually, there is something I don't like. There is nothing under "check statistics" for the online quizzes, so for a statistics nutter such as myself, it's a big tease.

lol I like it. But it can feel a bit stalkerish when people you don't know start chatting to you. I came across this the other night I didn't know where the chat bubble was coming from

Yeh i worked it out after reading about it in a previous post..u go to channel in the top right and then check the box of whos online.
