yes, any file with an association using the lpOperation as 'OPEN' should work provided the lpFile is valid

Can i use this code do launch other file types ? word docs.

I can only seem to get it to open up websites with the http:// at the start of the location not localy stored. html files or docs.

make sure you use the correct path, e.g. c:\xxx\xxx\doc.doc

the app.path property is always useful
