Hello, I'm doing B Medical Science which as you know required 12 units of math for first year.

I achieved band 6 in General Maths, am tutoring myself in 2u atm online, girlfriend did 4unit and is teaching me as well.

My question is do you think I require both intro courses, Math1111 (semester 1 intro to calc 6 units) and Math 1014 (semester 2 intro to linear algebra 3 units)

I'm thinking of doing Semester 1 Math111
and Semester 2 Math1003 Integral calculus and modelling and Math 1005 Statistics

Do any people with experience believe I can get away with good marks with only done general mathematics and only 2~ months tutoring up to the start of uni?

You can do a bridging course for 2U at any university. Also you don't really need MATH1003 & 1005 unless you plan to take intermediate level maths so you can take foundation units.

Maths permeates a lot of the sciences, so I think it is really important to cover Calculus, Linear Algebra and Statistics.

I'd do MATH1111 first semester, MATH1005 in Winter School, and MATH1013 and MATH1014 in Semester 2.
