Opinion: Can I get 96? :) (1 Viewer)

Just an opinion if I can get 96 with the following ranks, I go to a local high school so it is ranked around 200, but my ranks are as follows...
1/50 advanced english
1/9 extension english
1/4 extension 2 english
1/72 general maths
2/15 physics
1/21 music 1

I also did german continuers last year through open high and got a hsc mark of 90, if that helps? I know I'm doing 12 units too and physics is by far my worst... should I bother spending a lot of time studying for it over the next few weeks? Thanks xx

Would you would expect to be dux?
If so, do you know what the dux of your school typically gets for an ATAR?

I hope so I got the all-rounder award, and dux at my school last year got 98.6
I suppose it's just the prospect of 96 seems awfully hard to get!

Because your ranks are good, and assuming you get the highest exam mark in each subject, your atar is quite easy to predict.

If you do an exam for each subject, get them marked and the see what that raw mark aligns to on the raw mark database, you'll have some hsc mark estimates. Throw them in a calculator and you have an atar estimate.

What marks do you average in past papers?

I don't think your physics mark is that bad. I'd still study for it incase you can beat your German Continuers mark with it, as it does scale quite well.

I know what you mean though. I don't feel like doing any study for Ex English since it is just 1 unit and I don't think it will count towards my ATAR anyway. Buuutt I finished a creative for it yesterday, so I might.

BTW your marks for the trials do indicate high 90s.
