Optical Drive (1 Viewer)

My HP laptop (Windows Vista) has stopped reading discs, both burnt and real. I have no idea why...

When I place a CD in the drive, it starts "wizzing" for a second or two, then it stops and makes weird sounds at 5 second intervals. Can some please tell me what's happening?

its fucked and you need a new one, thats whats happening. The things only cost like $30 buy a new one.

you can't do anything, if it doesn't read any of the cds, you have to change it
