Um I was just wondering do first year people usually go to the night time stuff at O - Week at Syd uni?? Would people recommend going even if you don't know anyone at all??

is anyone gonna go to their faculty welcomes? or is everyone more into the discos etc.
Also, is it advisable for the 1st years to sign up to any clubs and societies or r they all bullshit?

i dont think any of the events are compulsory to attend, but i heard it is recommended to participate in the events organised by your faculties. Its a great way to meet people who will be doing the same course as you, so as not to be a loner on the first day of lectures.

i'm not going to the faculty welcome. Even though I won't know anyone, I'm still going to the disco to hopefully meet lots of new people! lol :wave:
