OSI Model / Communication Systems Framework (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I'm just curious as to whether or not I need to learn the OSI model or if the Comm Sys Framework is enough for the HSC. My teacher spent lots of time going through the OSI model but I haven't seen any textbook or notes which mention this model.

As far as I remember, the OSI model is covered in the syllabus notes on the official BOSTES website (https://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/syllabus_hsc/pdf_doc/ipt-st6-syl-from2010.pdf - refer page 36. Also, Davis has a pretty in-depth section about OSI model (can't recall the page number tho...)
