Will the fact that i don't completely understand 3u locus q's from the parametrics topic come back to bite me in the arse when i do conics in 4u?

It won't help that's for sure. Personally I found conics the hardest topic we covered in 4u so far, but then again we have only done graphing complex no. and conics :p.

Just make sure you pay attention, the parametrics for the ellipse and hyperbola are different from those involved in the parabola.

concis gave me a better nderstanding of 3 unit parametrics. i had difficulty of interpreting the question and understanding where things lie.. too much jargon, but after practicing it with ext 2 conics, i understand it better. i found this was the same case for integration. i had problems recognising variuos 3 unit integrals and was spending too much time on them. 4 unit integration saved me :)
