i would never listen to my parents, never in my whole bloody life

they have never given me advice but just demanded me on how to lead my life....going for help to them is my last resort....id rather go to my mate's mother, she has been more supportive to me than any other adult i know

honestly i dont see how uni changes anything, unless you already have doubts about your relationship. and ive been through my "lets go to parties, get drunk and kiss lots of guys" phase.
So once you've been through that phase, you never go back?

Been there... it wasn't really a problem. My folks know well enough to leave me to business and I'll look after it. They're objection was more just on a kneejerk reaction of "we don't really like her" than anything else.

Oh yeah for sure, but you know even people in 'love' sometimes don't stick together. Distance / Lack of similar interests / etc can make people kinda drift far apart, till one day you wake up and realise you don't really love them.
