Has anyone done

PATH2201 Process in Disease
and/or
BIOC2201 - Molecular Biology (Advanced)?

I don't know which one to choose.. Help!!

Do BIOC2201. There is no choice:D

Na seriously.. I think moleculary biology sounds more interesting than disease.. this is an elective?

well in my degree, all the subjects are electives as long as they are in the school of medical science or in BABS.
Yeah, I am just scare that molecular might end up like Biochemistry :D

Do Molecular Biology:
- no need to buy new textbooks
- prerequisites for a lot of third year courses
- seems more useful
- help in genetics

Do Pathology:
- get Wednesday off
- less 9 am start
- seems easier
- 4 contact hours, not 6 in mol. bio.

see my dilemma? :(

do path, since youre in med sci i think its more valuable if you get a good introduction on the ways diseases inflict their damage. Mol bio is very mechanical, just like biochem you are going to be rote learning a few biological proceses which are covered in many other courses ir the transcription and translation of DNA
