really whatever i pik out of my case first, in yr7-9 went thru a 'blue' stage, then yr 10 was 'black' and past 2 yrs have been both lol

The pages in the actual HSC booklets have lines in light blue colour and therefore I personally prefer black pen.

Black. Works better with highlighters. Also, there are many different kinds of blue pen, so if I lost a blue pen and had to use another, the colours would be mucked up. There is only one black, and it is black.

That is indeed true, although while I notice such things, I don't really mind. Unless its totally different of course.

But you could get a black pen thats running out of ink, which may be more of a grey colour.

Blue. its actually quite funny, i use 4 colour pens, and just chuck them out when i run out of blue.

i use blue for normal black for headings
we had this conversation the other day in maths lol
although i mostly use black in exams
another question: why do black pens always last longer than blue pens (like the ink in them)? its crazy.

Are you comparing a black BIC Cristal with a blue kilometrico ?

but bic pens last waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay longer than kilometricos

agreed, i have a massive big lump on my finger from using them so thats why i started to use kilometricos
the other papermate ones (with the grippy stuff) are crap coz they leak everywhere

yeah, but also with a normal (plastic) ruler and a bendy ruler
they also leaked everywhere when i was just writing!
so i don't use them anymore
