yes but theyre dumb and bulky and annoying to carry, and useless in a tute

you can download the tutes later, usually. better just taking a pen in for note taking

yes they are. seriously uni is lax in every single thing except assessments/enrollments.

it'll be like uni next year, i haven't written a thing since school was over...typing only.

my hand will be so unaccustomed it will be painfull.

Whatever pen you use in the exam should be a pen you use frequently throughout the semester. You need to know how the pen feels after writing for an extended period of time and how long the ink lasts for. I've seen many people get new fancy pens for exams and have them run out halfway through the first exam. I personally use BIC Crystal biros (BIG W sell a 25 3 colour bulk pabk for about $6) but also like the Papermate 4 colour pen (4 ball or something, it has a blue barrel and a nice grip). For those who like gel style pens, I recommend the standard uniball one (has a greyish coloured barrel). I used that one for my maths lectures since most lectures involved 4-6 pages of writing in 45 minutes and the pen generally showed up finer details in the writing, important if you are writing down maths notation quickly.

Lol, I don't go uni but I like to use the kilometrico ones that come in a packet of 5 colours =]
