so what pens do people use and where do you get it from

I use a blue or black pen and I get them from the newsagent. Sometimes I even use a pencil.

I usually use a blue ben but sometimes when I am feeling adventurous I go to Kmart and by a four pack of black pens!

I use Faber Castel- you get them from Big W in a pack of 3 (black, red, blue) there really good, as in light and stuff...i recommend getting them.. i like them more then the gel ink ones.

Staedtler Triplus Fineliner pens (colour variety). I got a set of 20 for $20 with a free pencil case from Officeworks around 2 weeks ago. Gotta love back to school sales. I find that they come in handy esp. when you're making notes for study at uni.

The Pilot super grip

A good pen. Its printing speed exceeds that of the standard Bic. It can be used for writing, pointing at things and opening plastic packets (by means of the 'stab' function). The engineering is good enough that the pen can be dis-, and then re-, assembled without disrupting its functionality.
