SO yeah, I know that you need a GPA of 3 and to be in the right degree to begin with... but does this guarantee you in?

Does anyone know (for MAQ) whether all who apply for internal combined law transfer, if they have GPA of 3 do they automatically get accepted?

I know also you need to write an application to the Dean, does that means that some applicant with GPA's of 3 and over don't get accepted to the competitiveness and it goes down to the application to the Dean?

Thanks for any contributors.

It depends on supply and demand, just like the ATAR system - if there is an increase in the number of applicants or a reduction in the number of places will lead to a increase in the entry requirements. Essentially, there really isn't a guarantee.

You should really consider giving the Law School a ring to see if they can tell you a bit more about the application process and whether they have any idea about the number of places being offered/etc etc.
