thx for repeating what i said making it wordier tooany opinions/advice from people in schools ranked 50-100 (i.e. good schools but not insane like selective)?
400+ school and 99 atar you want top 1-2 in everything. I was 1st in 2 subjects, 2nd in 2 subjects and 6th in one and I only got like 90Is Top 5 ideal for a 400+ ranked school? Can you get a 90 atar with that?
north sydney boysmove to james ruse
LOL james ruse supremacy is overnorth sydney boys
thx for that, i think he got the point after the first reply.400+ school and 99 atar you want top 1-2 in everything. I was 1st in 2 subjects, 2nd in 2 subjects and 6th in one and I only got like 90
I thought my reply might have more value than someone who isn't sitting the hsc for another 6 monthsthx for that, i think he got the point after the first reply.
99 atarers are always one trick ponies. they will get 80 in English and 97 in 4U math and physicsDepends on how well you do in other assessment tasks, had a friend fail 2 english assessments but was really good at 3u and 4u where he was close to state ranking and ended up with a 99+
This is an over exaggeration. There's plenty of 99+ who excel in english. You can just take a look at the all-rounders for top selective schools...99 atarers are always one trick ponies. they will get 80 in English and 97 in 4U math and physics
i think they mean theyre either good at math or english? i could be wrongThis is an over exaggeration. There's plenty of 99+ who excel in english. You can just take a look at the all-rounders for top selective schools...
coz then this is saying they all have one kind of subject i.e the one trick ?people that have a subject for math english science and hsie always have chopped atars. never seen an all trick pony
A look at any high ranking selective school's honour roll would show people excelling at both.i think they mean theyre either good at math or english? i could be wrong
thats just how im interpreting the "one trick pony" part
bitch english ppl are one trick ponies too- its always those 4U english, VA, drama mfs tooThis is an over exaggeration. There's plenty of 99+ who excel in english. You can just take a look at the all-rounders for top selective schools...
why is your example the minority. I'm talking about us normal 400+ public school peasantsA look at any high ranking selective school's honour roll would show people excelling at both.
