wth, thats not fair, both your recess and lunchtimes are 10 mins longer than ours, we get 20 and 40 mins for them

When I become a teacher, I will make sure I get transferred to that school.

Normal days: 7x45min lessons
Wednesday: 6x40min lessons + assembly

A double lesson is 90 mins :apig:


Recess is half and hour and lunchtime is 50 mins.

Monday, Tuesday,Thursday, Friday:
Start - 8:55
6 x 50-55 minute periods
lunch and recess are each half an hour.
we also have either a 15 minute roll call or assembly each day.
Finish - 3:25

Wednesday:
All students start at 9:30 (Staff meeting).
Senior students (11-12) don't have any classes unless they are taking extension courses or tafe.

Normal days: 4 periods.. 70 minutes each..except Monday period 1; 80 minutes.

Tuesday and Wednesdays: 3 periods. Tuesdays finish at 12:55 and people who do TAFE subjects go there and Wednesdays are sport days...though only year 11 do sport.

In same school. School sucks. Our lunch and recess combined aren't as long as Primary lunch. *sniffsniff*

And we begin school fifteen minutes early and end five minutes later...

I hope that the group does lobby for later starting date due to the needs of teenagers.

You know we can't help sleeping late? Something to do with hormonal changes and teenagers must get 9hrs of sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow that is short. we have 4 x 80 minute periods. we used to have 6 x 50-60 minutes, but i like the new system much better

Okay my school is really weird:
Morning admin - 15min
1- 50min
2 - 70min
3 - 45min
4 - 45min
Reading - 20 minutes
5 - 44min
6-43 min
Afternoon admin - 6min

but for next year its changing, because our school lost funding for reading or something.
so they will all be 50 minute periods as well as one 70 minute

I have 6 Periods a day, each 50 mins but there are 5 mins in between periods 3 and 4, 5 and 6 so technically it's 55 minutes for most periods.

Homeroom is about 20 mins and if there's assembly it'll overtake homeroom and periods 1 and 2 will be split evenly if it goes over time.
