i did Trotsky and argued that he kept failing.. so it doesn't show us winners.. it was completely unfounded and crap.. haha.. and i only used one historian..

but trotsky was a winner as well
ie revolution, civil and then he makes himself a winner while in exile

It came off a bit braggy, but eh. Not meant to be. Its all over now, thankfully.

I have large handwriting. The provided / alloted space isn't sufficiant.

lol don't worry they mark you for what you talked about not what you didn't so you'll be fine

think i started with something like 'history is about winners, because it is the winners that write history'

ie he 'won' at nuremburg, and thus his own interpretation became the accepted/orthodox history. i think i tied in other accounts of him by saying that even 'victory' wont stop the process of historical revision. finished on the note that we can only wonder how much further such a fabricated history would have gone if the germans had won the war.

Of course, I knew there was probably a good reason. I am actually envious of people with large handwriting, as it makes things a whole lot easier to read. Mine is usually tiny, but thankfully got slightly larger for this exam.

It did make me feel slightly better, not that I should have done it in the first place.

Nevertheless, I understand what you mean about the idiotic modern class. Although we weren't nearly as bad. About 7 people left with about 20 min to go. But an hour and five, golly...

I did a whole booklet of rather small writing for every section, with 1 and a half booklets for section three, and another page for the last question of core.

Anyway, apologies. You seem cool. What school are you from my dear?

I am astounded by how much people can write on this site.

Lol - Albert Speer, I wrote that history is about "winners" to some extent:
- We learn about Albert Speer's good qualities like his amazing architectural skills and work as the Minister of Armaments. So in that sense, history is about winners.
- But obviously his "loser" or failings have gained more attention, so history is suddenly more about him having shortcomings as a human being - that's where I brought in the negative historiography on him. And because his potential involvement in the Holocaust was where his character suddenly falls down, this makes history more about those who don't win.
