I'm doing 137 now. I looked at the textbook, and it reminded me of computer programming -... said:i'm thinking bout taking one for elective
PHIL131
PHIL132
PHIL134
PHIL137
anyone got any comments? like hard? interesting? boring??
Thanks .Cyan_phoeniX said:i don't think jimmy (original poster) ended up doing a phil unit. I did phil137, phil131 and phil134 last year and i found them some of my best subjects (86, 80 and 95). Phil131 and phil137 are great subjects if you are good with arguments but not necessarily bullshitty english, and logic (phil134) is good if your kind of into mathsy sort of stuff (you derive a strange language which all fits into place like maths).
PwarYuex, 134 (formal logic) is very much like computer language, although different (i think it originally had a function in early programs). You don't need any computer language skills or anything, however you have to learn what is initially a very strange concept.
ahh..nah, just wondering since you live kinda close to it and allCyan_phoeniX said:back to St pat's? lol, i havent been there since i left two years ago :/ (excl. awards night). why do you ask?
