For my year 11 english class i am studying physical journeys.

I need to find 3 supplementary materials such as:
songs
cartoons
poems
movies
mags
letters
photos etc that show a physical journey of some sort

any help would be much appreciated, thankyou :uhhuh:

There are a gargantuan number of possible texts; practically infinite. What lengths are you looking for? The Oddyssey (Homer) is a prime example, but it is very long (10 000 lines approx.) Lord of the rings and the Hobbit are both great physical journeys, and also have elements of the inner journey. As for poems, Charge of the light brigade, whilst it is a war story, is a form of a very compact and fatal physical journey. The Lotos eaters is another such poem. Rime of the anicient mariner is both physical and inner/spiritual (no need you shouldn't use both).

It is important to see that the greatest journey texts are generally very lengthy, hence the lengthy nature of most of my suggestions. Do some research for short poems/songs on the net, and there will be a plethora for you to choose from.

Physical journeys should be pretty easy to find. The majority of texts deal with physical journeys.
