Also, most serious Physics teachers think that the HSC Physics is a downright joke.
My Chemistry teacher has a better sense of humour than my Physics Teacher while my Physics teacher has a very solid knowledge of Physics. Both know their stuff, which is good.dr baby beanie said:Does anyone think that chem teachers are better than physics teachers? They just seem to know their stuff more.
lol... yea true, but they have reason to think so... there are a lot of mistakes in the physics syllabus... things that are totally wrong... here's an example...~shinigami~ said:Also, most serious Physics teachers think that the HSC Physics is a downright joke.
Nice choice.jaaaaay said:lol... yea true, but they have reason to think so... there are a lot of mistakes in the physics syllabus... things that are totally wrong... here's an example...
i was looking through those 'trusty' dot points...
it asks you stuff like... to explain the produciton of eddy currents in terms of lenz's law... which is obviously incorrect.
lenz's law only tells you the direction of the current, it doesn't explain anything about the production of it. they obviously meant faraday's law, but nevertheless, it's in the syllabus. either they're just plain stupid or no one can be bothered to change it.
sorry... *calms down* and that my friends... is why i am dropping chem...
and not physics... lol...
thanks ^^;;~shinigami~ said:Nice choice.
motors and generators was our first topic... haha...2opinion8d said:You seem pretty confident.... have you already gone through it?
Maybe when we start it I'll appreciate it more... in the mean time

I mean, what's more important, creating things to improve the material standards of our society or learning, investigating and discovering the truthes of our universe and the meaning & nature of the world around us?
you're an idiot. What's the point of improving the crap that we put around us? It gives us nothing.jb_nc said:Uh... I'm going to have to say creating things to improve our standards of living.
by 'improving the crap that we put around us' didn't that lead us to the wonders of plastics? xDBlackDragon said:you're an idiot. What's the point of improving the crap that we put around us? It gives us nothing.
You have given chemistry credibility. Shame on you.jaaaaay said:by 'improving the crap that we put around us' didn't that lead us to the wonders of plastics? xD

Hahaha that's actually pretty good. Even if it is a school joke. Consider yourself redeemed. Hooray for physicsjaaaaay said:*guilty face*
okay... fine. i'll make up for my shameful behaviour...
“Love is a matter of chemistry, but Sex is a matter of physics”
has anyone changed their mind now? =P
I'm just saying that i would rather live in world without electricity, plastic, and computers if i had true understand of the universe around me.jaaaaay said:by 'improving the crap that we put around us' didn't that lead us to the wonders of plastics? xD
if you can't appreciate that, then you're the idiot here =P
haha... jkjk...
but i still back physics all the way.
