Okay there doesnt seem to be a physics exam thread yet or else i am blind

just wondering what do you guys think a raw mark of about 80% will scale to

I think (please correct me if I am wrong) a mark of about 84-85 scales to be a band six. I assume therefore a mark of about 80 would get something like a mid to high band five?

That is just me guessing though.

There is no exam thoghuts forum for physics yet, although there will be on Monday/Tuesday.

80 would scale up to high 80's, made low 90's, depends how hard the paper is.

we wont know what the ranking will be like until the exam is over.

In 2003, a 56 raw was aligned to 78 and a 61-62 raw to 81

hey bro. ur sig states that u need >75 for UNSW engineering? isnt the cut off 88? :S

if you do the FEAS thing or whatever its called you can still get in with 75 but you do interviews and stuff, its not definite
unless his got another way in i dont know about

this scaling for physics is real hot. real real hot. same crap for chemistry. yeah ill just aim for 70 raw in each, that should be suffiecient for band 5 in both ..

70raw in each for me would be enough for 90+, you're probably on the verge of 95-100? lol
