hey is there anyone that knows how to make a picture smaller in kb? i want to upload a picture onto my profile but they're too big and i dont know how to do it....i have iphoto... thanks!

just use the picture viewing software.

if you go into windows explorer and double click on the file, to open it in picture viewer, you can edit it there and change the size.

really, you can do it in any image editting software, just resize it and save the picture.

Save it as a gif or a jpg.

If you save it as a jpg, see if there is a "Compression" option. Saving at 80-90% will dramatically reduce the size of the file in kilobytes.

Don't use ".bmp" format.

bitmaps suck... they take up way more space, and jpegs are generally more compatible with my programs, i always work with jpegs.

does she have a mac?
