Do they check for plagiarism in the externals? e.g. for English and other subjects involving essays

it probably depends on the marker whether he/she remembers it, like if u took a LINE which seriously STANDS OUT and the marker remembers reading it then ... good luck?

Plagarise? If you plagarise an idea(s) from a past friend would they take you marks off. I don't think so...

But if you plagarise word by word, yes and they may very well remember if you plagarise a whole essay word by word.

well my teachers had no life. they went and checked every assignment and exam for one line of plagiarism. hahaha so thats why im wondering if hsc is the same.

then again if you add 60000 papers to the equation.. yeah they probably cbf.

heyy well at our school we`re given sorta "sample essays" that the teacher wrote .. and she said if we follow a essay similar to hers we`ll be fine ..
considering she teaches 2 classes .. and im guessing she gave both classes the essay .. would that still be plagarism ? or counted as some sort of teachers aid type thing , if everyone followed her essay ?
