QUESTION: To what extent did the 2002 and 2005 Bali Bombings create a social change in the people choosing to travel to Bali?

INTRO

CHAPTER 1-Background info
-A profile on Bali
(government, religion, comparison to australia)
-Political Ties with Australia
(a brief history on the relationship between Australia and Indonesia up until the bombings)
-Social Ties with Australia
(A brief history on the australian tourists in bali)

CHAPTER 2-What happened
-The 2002 Bombings (using content analysis, interviews)*DONE
-The 2005 Bombings (using personal reflection, interviews)*DONE

CHAPTER 3
-The impact on a national level (statistical analysis, possible interview)
-The impact on a personal level (questionnaire, personal reflection, interview)

CONCLUSION

So this is the plan- what does everybody think? I'm not sure if it's on theright track or not? I'm interviewing an Indo expat on sunday and awaiting a reply from people i know that run a restaurant in bali.
Also have interviewed people who were there, people who lost friends etc.

For chapter 2 in the 2005, i wrote it as a personal account? is that too biased?

sounds pretty good...i guess a personal account would be alright. just make sure you use a heap of concepts. and try and project it into the future...like perhaps make another chapter of 'the future of tourism in bali' or something like that, using a probable future scenario based on what you've discussed in your other chapters.

oh and instead of 'national' and 'personal', why not use 'micro' and 'macro' world...you'd get marked up for use of concepts

personal reflection/accounting is fine as long as you acknowledge that you've got your own personal bias, and cross reference it with something more factual. so, yeah, as long as you make sure the marker knows you know that you've applied your own bias, it should be cool nana's.
