Modern History: Ken Webb books are apparently meant to be good

English Advance / English extension: Just buy the prescribed text books

Mathematics: Agree with Rathin; get Fitzpatrick or Cambridge

Addon to maths - If you choose Fitzpatrick, get NEW Fitzpatrick. The old one is horrible.

For English you might want to consider investing in some books you might enjoy reading. Although you'll have to focus on your prescribed texts at school there is a definite benefit by making reading other texts for your own skill and understanding of both English and Eng. Ext 1.

For Maths the textbooks suggested above are great and if your looking for more challenges in the course, look to past papers. If you do a quick google search of 'Mathematics Preliminary Past Papers' you might be stumble upon some useful exams that you can use to practice before the big day.

Hope this helps!
