You probably don't want to talk about this, but anyway, what sorta things does your uni course entail, scaredy?

Eh, I do four subjects a semester.

1 is the core Arts course. It is, quite frankly, a huge wank.
2 are courses for my major - I usually do a creative writing course and a literature course, to balance out the amounts of reading and writing I have to do.
1 is an elective - I'm doing Moral Philosophy this semester.

What do you want to know specifically?

Just the kind of work you produce, as a result of your course, basically. A lot things about particular degrees have surprised me recently. I believe yours would do the same if I inquired about it.

I usually write essays and prose fiction?

This semester I am working towards a 5-6000 word story/novella.
Um... I'm also reading tons of 19th century literature and listening to my bald lecturer's enchanted cooings at portraits of Lord Byron.

Jeez. That last part sounds interesting.

How is Byron's poetry? I haven't had a look at any of it myself, but I've heard he's supposed to be some sort of forerunner for the Romantic movement.

The extremely limited 19th Century literature I've read irritates me. It seems to be pervaded by overwrought emotions described in too finer detail for my taste. The language doesn't particularly help either. Very difficult to relate to.

If I was more dedicated, I could say something about Byron's poetry. Frankenstein is pretty good, and Middlemarch is starting to pick up (very dense).

But yeah, I whispered 'He has a crush on Lord Byron' and he heard me, proclaiming 'I DO have a crush on Lord Byron!'

It was all very amusing.

I'm being called to bed. Good morrow.

Good for him. Well, I'd probably best leave you to more interesting things than explaining your current academic life to a random poster. Good luck with your degree. :shy:

Does your offer extend to those of the same gender as yourself?

I'm in a long term relationship, but if circumstances change I'll consider your offer; provided that you can supply documentation proving that you are not a complete tool.
