You seem to be ruling the state in IPT, but then again you might be getting band 1 for all your other subjects ;) :p just kidding hehe:p
LOL @ Band 1's

(who told you!!!! *angry countenance*)

No, I don't think you've got nothing better to do.
*I* think I've got nothing better to do, other than to sit around waiting for the next exam :p (no, I'm not that lame...)
but what other subjects do you do Huy?
I do quite a few subjects... put it that way.

*successfully dodging the question, pointing to BOS User Profile*

btw, welcome to BOS pocydto :)

Nice bell curve guys.

I can envisage plenty of the marks falling between 65-75.

With a minority in the 80s to 90s (doesn't mean that it is impossible, but it's sticking to the bell curve idea).

lol who just voted for 0-10%?
They're selling themselves short.
20%+ is highly likely for even the worst of students.

I can probably say that 'the lowest ranked student' at my school would score between 25-35%

I'd have to say that's some very good bottom marks :)
At my school most of the ppl in IPT fall between the 20-30% range... (for the trials that is). The lowest mark being 0-10% ;)
So there's about 20% that's NOT actually getting band 1(10 ppl in the class, 2 passed).... well that's my school...

I assume you meant "you must be the only asian doing four units..."

babydoll does 4U, my 'fiancee' - she's asian too ;)
So does truly-in-bliss (yep, asian again, 4 Maths, 4 English).

But at my school, yes, I'm the only asian with 4 English.

I think most teachers are open to all cultures/nationalities, I've never had a (real/huge) problem with any.

:)

I know the feeling (or rather, knew of the feeling).

The guys here at BOS shot me down for my multiple choice answers ;)

I think of gone into denial now.. a result below 90 will push me off the edge :D

Im worried about the scaling for this subject, and as i have killed my chances of getting a good Ancient mark (which apparently doesnt scale well either) i have to make up for it in IPT.

um... just wondering... r we ever gonna find out what mark we got? i thought we just got our fully calculated, moderated, scaled, bullshited mark that the BOS decides to give us based on school bias?

I believe it's raw mark for the paper, not the scaled HSC mark (final).

No, raw exam marks are not given to the students.

We only get our "fully calculated, moderated, scaled, [aligned], bullshitted mark".

School bias? You mean the assessment rank order? That's not bias, it's based on your internal assessment mark and allignment to performance bands. ;)
