Job is a terrible hobby.
Exercising isn't fun anymore. Neither are video games.
Not interested in books.
Don't have a dog.
More suggestions.

Oh and you guys HAVE to try shooting (just in a range is fine). It's actually a lot of fun. However, it is a bit of an expensive hobby.

There's a shooting range in Auburn and Condell Park. However, you can't just rock up and say "Hey can I shoot a few rounds? I'm having a bad day". You either have to join the club (not too expensive) or you can sign up for their promotions.

A month ago I went to the one in Condell Park because they advertised a bit of a promotion to introduce people to shooting.

100 dollars got me....

200x 9mm rounds
2x (i forgot the calibre but it was from a pretty big S&W revolver)
2x shotgun rounds.

And we saw the instructor shoot a couple of 0.50 calibre rounds from this massive revolver. The nozzle flash was blinding.

Alternatively, you could just rock up in Bankstown where every street is it's own shooting range.
