Greetings Chums.

These are my overall assessment marks and ranks after the trial exams:

SORI - 96% - 1/61
Mod. History - 93.5% - 1/11
English Std. - 83% - 1/29
History Ext. - 97.5% - 1/5
CAFS - 87/89% - 1(or 2nd)/18
Food Technology - 88% - 3/14

My school was ranked 160th last year.

I'm aiming for an Atar over 90.

Thank you all for your time.

I'm going to say 90+, I havent estimated you higher because most your subjects dont scale that well and you do standard. Being ranked first in your subjects means that your ATAR will mostly be determined by your performance in the externals. Potentially, you could get as high as 97,98 or as low as 90, its to hard to tell.

thats creepy. my friend did the exact same subjects and had roughly the same ranks. except instead of food tech she did general maths. point being, she got a 93.

You'll probably get 90+, but it all depends on how well you go in the HSC itself.

Would I need to get similar marks to my assessment marks? Or would they need to be higher? (if I wanted to attain an Atar of 90+)

Remember, because you're coming 1st/2nd for most of your subjects, your final ATAR will pretty much be based on your performance in the externals. Smash them, and you could see a 99, don't go so well and you could see a 80. And it's all relative, so the actual raw mark is irrelevant.

ummm. mid 100's but that jumped from the 200's the previous year. our school always fluctuates depending on the type of cohort.but yeah. she did standard english, but smashed cafs, ancient and extension.
