My post UAI discussion will depend on a number of factors, all of which are "what my UAI is". The plan is something like this:

100 - Pay for a 30 second television commercial to tell the world.

99.95 to 95 - Tell as many people as I can, maybe wear it on a shirt.

95 to 90 - Tell lots of ppl i know

90 to 81 - Tell a few people, those that would have found out anyway.

80 or less - Spend remainder of life as a hermit living off the land on a mountain somewhere far from civilisation.

I voted telling my marks to some close friends, but also to those, who are not necessarily close friends, whom I trust not to tell anyone else my marks, IF they tell me theirs.

Ive been planning this for weeks.

On a thursday morning im gonna reside in a cave. This cave will be my home for approximately 1-2 weeks, In the cave I will have access to the internet for a totoal of 7.6 minutes, which should be enough time to access my UAI and results. Im taking food supplies, but just enough to last for 5 days. After the 5 days, i'll be lonely, hungry and thirsty... not to mention looking like a 'cave man' (how ironic). By the time people figure out where I am, as well as rescue me, My UAI won't matter, as long as "Im safe"...

although depending on my UAI, i might just leave after my food supplies run out!

I am going to scream if I get 66+... I will be very happy

the more higher than 66 I get, the more chance of me dying from a heart attack..

anything lower than 66 I wouldn't really care I'd just be like yeah I tried

It's entirely dependent upon what my UAI is.

More than 85, I will call people and brag.

85 - 80, disappointing, but enough for a BA

Less than 80, avoid all phone calls, lock myself in my bedroom and become a hikikomori until Harry Potter 7 comes out, after which I will committ suicide.

:)

I take it none of your teachers will be ringing you on Sat. morning then... but I bet I'm not in the minority. Since school will have finished and by the time it starts again, most people will be off at uni/tafe/work, many principals call people to find out their uais after they come out.

my teacher want me to call them how inconsiderate...
nah if it's something that i'm plaesed with (eg gets me into uni) then i'll be happy but still won't tell everyone.. OH and especially not family friends the secret of life is never to tell family friends your real UAI unless it like 95+

If I don't tell my family, it's because they have nfi what the numbers mean. They'd probably think it's like an average percentage of all your exams, not knowing all the scaling, aligning and other shit going on... why tell them if they'll be patronising and not understand the significance of the UAI? I'd rather tell my teachers.

Same as Sonic..lol, My teachers told me to call them...

I don't think my principle would be nosy enough to call home and ask what UAI's we got, besides alot of people in my grade would be in and out of school alot, whether it be picking up younger brothers and sisters from school, or simply visiting teachers or selling books (and my grade does only consist of 20 ppl...lol)

But I would understand ur principles curiosity, lol dont take the 'nosy' part seriously, I was only joking!

So true. but in that respect I'm screwed. Its my mums surprise b'day the day after uais come out, so I'm going to have all the people I know at my house, asking me what I got. :( I would have prefered to be a hermit.

hahahaha.

similarly, if i get:

99+ - buying number stickers and sticking it to my head, then going to the beach, and getting a tan, so that my uai is 'tattooed' to my head in white, in contrast to the darkened skin.

98-99 with hesitation, tell my parents and people who ask me.

below 98, just tell my parents, and close friends.

I wouldn't mind telling anyone my UAI if it is above 90.00. If it is between 85-90, I'll tell very close people; below 85- will hardly tell anyone.
