wtf does "Do you expect to complete your entire program in Semester 1?" mean?

Are you going to complete your degree in Semester 1? If you just accepted your offer and haven't even started your degree you will most likely not be finishing during Semester 1.

Oh geez.

My friend put her preferences in the wrong order.
Would have made the cut off for her UNSW course if she hadn't.

Well, hopefully somebody takes a different offer and she gets in :/
pretty sure my cousin did that with her law/business degree, wanted to do it at unsw or usyd not sure which one but put the uts one first cos she didnt think she'll make the former, turns out she could of got into usyd/unsw

Accept UTS, change preference order to make UNSW first - see if you get in in a later round.

I got a D average studying accounting @ TAFE and I got an offer to study BCom at USYD but I don't know if I should accept it. How hard is the maths in this course? Would I be able to pass if I didn't study maths in y11-12? Please be realistic.

I'm considering studying at MQ – BCom – Professional Accounting.. the only mathsy subjects include statistics and microeconomics. But would MQ's stat and micro be on the same level as USYD or easier?

Could I get some opinions on my situation here please:

Got into Bach of Media in Macquarie University last year and thought I might try my hand at transferring universities. I got an offer into UNSW Bach of Media - Comm & Journalism today.

I don't want to leave so many closely-knit friends I've made at Macquarie, the beautiful campus and facilities and I'm just generally accustomed to everything there by now. At the same time, the travel is at times a hassle (I'm in the Illawarra region) and the course doesn't seem all that great.

Is it worth transferring to a somewhat more prestigious university and save some travel time for a new course, leaving behind friends and a year of study? Absolute dilemma right now!

My friend wants to do a course at UTS, which the cut-off in the pdf just released says 97.35. She got 97.10, does she have a chance to get in through the later rounds having an ATAR lower than the cutoff.

I say if the course isen't much different i say stay, if you have made alot of good friends then i would stay.
If you think you can do better at UNSW then go, even though you will be leaving your friends if you make friends easy it wouldn't matter if you don't then i would stay haha.
