but it seems to me that other schools mark a little easier than my school.
there were not many marks given greater than 75-80 in most subjects?
so im worried.

that's why only ranks matter in internal. various school has various marking guideline so don't worry. you get what you deserve at the end.

teachers and schools all mark differently so thats why its all about ranks
also its good if your teachers mark harder as you will more likely be able to perform better in the actual hsc exam

Yeah our chem teachers mark ridiculously hard. It borders unfair, and I've heard from other tutors/teachers that HSC examiners won't be that strict. It's demoralising because teachers are meant to be on your side, but some just feed off negative marking.

dont listen to the stupid english teachers who say prepared essays are bad. bcuz everyone does it. i mean i went it without anything prepared at all and got 12/15 for my essay, while the most retarded kid in my class gets 15 for his prepared essay.

Hence always prepare.

MX1: 82% (1st/8)
MX2: 76% (3rd/5)
Biology: 92% (1st/18)
Chemistry: 83% (1st/16)
Adv English: 41/60 (for modules) 13/15 (for Bel. essay) - haven't received comprehension or creative writing yet. (???)

im really worried about my chemistry mark i got 67% but got a decent rank 4/20 and im pretty sure my teacher marks hard does this matter if i want to get a high band five for chem?

Awkward... The top mark for MX1 at my school was 86% but was only 64% for MX2. :/

I came 3rd in MX2, first in MX2 got 89%, 2nd got 85%
However, as my first post says.. circular motion and harder 3u were replaced with q's from the earlier topics.

Hah i know what you mean,
I got 20 for both multiple choices so no room for subjectivity there. What did you get?
My school usually gets about 4-5 band sixs in each subject.
