I got 84 which was the top mark in my school. Next mark was 66 then 52, everyone else in the class failed

That's good. Yeah I knew that. I've ranked first in all of my subjects except english, so if I get first in the hsc exams then í should still be able to get a high atar without the averages pulling me down too much?

Heh 200'ish is not poorly ranked compared to my school.. Even 400'ish isn't.

280 isn't poorly ranked; there are probably thousands of schools sitting the HSC..

Sorry, didn't realise you had an inferiority complex.

I said there are 60 000 kids sitting the hsc.
You said there are THOUSANDS of schools....Do the maths and apply basic logic.

And an inferiority complex is when i feel inferior to you, which i obviously don't.
Please get something right.
The point is, don't mislead people and give them a false sense of security by telling them stuff thats incorrect.

If you are ranked first internally for all things, then the average of your school in the hsc exam will not affect you at all.
Especially if you get significantly smarter than everyone else in your grade. Then your hsc will depend purely on your effort. (except for English)

Sorry to hear man, I know how it feels like to lose 1st rank in the final assessment task

We got our post trial rankings today for advanced english! Luckily i stayed at number 1 Very happy...
However, we're still waiting on modern which I am really worried about as I am only coming first by a few marks and I think i could lose it....

Anyway.....we'll have to wait and see!

Got chemistry back today, 84%, 13/20 for multiple choice? wth?! -that's horrid. Well im 1st anyway, by far, so that's pretty good
I'm just waiting on 2u maths now (wasn't CSSA), which i think i'll come in 2nd, i think i did quite atrociously. rank 2's still good right?

overall score: 84/105 (80/100)

very very happy apart from the disaster with module A. i was so devo when my teacher told me i didnt need to rewrite the question at the top of each essay.
this is not CSSA by the way.

some goes for 2unit man.. my schools average is 30-40 lol....... in my opinion that eco exam was very very generous , just needed to know your stuff very well
