hey! i am in 2nd year studying speech and hearing sciences at macquarie. we have a different GPA system to usyd so i was wondering how usyd calculates their GPAs or if there's some conversion table. i need a 4.5/7 apparently for post grad speech path at usyd. does anyone know what this equates to at macquarie? thanks

On a GPA scale using a 7, a 4 is equivalent to a pass and a 5 equivalent to a credit.

On the Macquarie scale, (say 2 passes and 2 credits) that's a 2.5 or so :)

So basically if you aim for credits or higher you should be fine :D

Sorry to bother you, but what kind of marks for the rest of my degree do I need? I have 9 subjects left until I apply for masters. Is it still possible to get a 4.5/7 by end of semester 1 next year? Thanks
