Also, try to retain interest with other people so they will keep talking to you (Y). Especially with girls

I agreeeee. Maybe at places that you are not too familiar with (e.g. tutoring class/event of some sort), saying hi goes a long way...

Even simpler then that, who do you sit with it class? If you sit next to someone else and you don't get something/they don't, you can help each other and that will instantly help you get to know others.

Also to note. I always get 100% in multiple choice and short answers I only lose marks in oral tasks (which had been every task so far)
