Is there a need to study for viewing and listening tasks?
If there is how do you study for it?
Btw AOS is journeys.

Yes there is - it is a skill.

a) Exposing yourself to various listening pieces (interviews, Ted talks) surrounding your AOS
b) Practising your note taking skills (as if it was exam conditions)

Yes of course you can study for viewing/listening!

I would recommend watching short videos and analysing them, (techniques and effects), as well as hearing speeches and analysing them, but most importantly remembering to link everything back to journeys since it is your AOS. Pretend like the viewing/listening texts are just like your prescribed HSC texts and analyse them using techniques specific to them - then make conceptual links back to journeys.
Good luck! :)
