Identify data sources, gather, process and present information from secondary sources to identify areas of current research and use the available evidence to discuss some of the underlying physical principles used in one application of physics related to waves, such as:
o Global Positioning System
o CD technology
o The Internet (digital process)
o DVD technology


Does GPS uses radio wave or microwave? I've looked on several textbooks but some says radio wave and others say microwave. Can someone please clarify which one is the right answer? or does GPS use both radio wave and microwave?

Radio wave is a just a generalised term, if you do CD technology pm me I'll send you my assignment that I got full marks in. Also, if you do IPT, the Samuel Davis textbook will help.

Edit: Also you might want to talk about triangulation if you want to continue with GPS. I'd suggest you use the term 'microwaves' to be more specific, but you can be generic if you want.
