So guys i ll be starting my preliminary year in less than a week and i was wondering on what you guys and your schools use for textbooks. The reason im asking for such a broad range is because i recently received tons of resources including past papers, notes, textbooks (pdfs) etc. Now i have so many i dont know which ones to use. eg the textbooks i have are

Biology- Bio in focus, heinemann

Chemistry- Chem contents 2, Conquering Chem, Jacaranda, UNSW and USyd textbooks (i dont even know how i got them)

Physics- In2Physics, Jacaranda, Physics Contents 2 , USyd (again...wth)

Maths Ext- math in focus (heard its shit), Jonas. Couchman Ext books, Cambridge, Fitz.

It would be really helpful if you could give me suggestions on whether these books are good or not, or suggest other ones.
Thanks a lot in adv.

Biology - I don't do it

Chemistry - Conquering Chemistry and Jacaranda Chemistry

Physics - Jacaranda Physics and In2Physics (I would've used Physics in Focus instead of this, but it will suffice)

Mathematics Extension 1 - Cambridge and Fitzpatrick

I'm saving up money to get ready to spend on HSC textbooks, but I did buy Tim Riley Economics textbooks, ONLY because they don't have it at my school library.

Otherwise, all my Preliminaries books will be hogged by me, from the library - I'll have the library ladies chasing me down for months over due textbooks, hehe.

Bio - Bio in focus is good
Phys - In2Physics (Phys in focus is the best imo and personally I hated Jacaranda cos it goes off on unnecessary tangents and it didn't actually state all of Newton's laws)
3U Maths - CAMBRIDGE all the way, Fitzpatrick also good

Do you have Conquering Chem, Jacaranda Chem and Physics pdf? Where do you find them?

For Chemistry, the best combination for me was Jacaranda with Student's Guide to HSC Chem (only covers the HSC course, but it's excellent. You can get a PDF copy in the chemistry forum). I much preferred Jacaranda to Conquering, it's more comprehensive and I personally preferred the layout. Didn't do any of your other subjects though sorry.
