Australia Post already operates at a profit

It has been corporitised, and is a net positive contributor to the Government.

Except if the Government is in a position to use the $7bn to generate greater future cashflows than it can from Australia Post (and this is an absurd proposition considering how money has been spent of late) there is absolutely no reason to privatise.
