and i've been feeling nauseous again lately, same kind of nausea i had when i started on it. but i've been on it for about four months now and haven't had any weird side effects for two months. normal or what?

The worst thing about the pill for me is that it made me considerably fatter.
The best thing was, well, contraception, and also huge boobies!

its a little tablet you take everyday that regulates periods & is an oral contraceptive.]
only some girls take it, for numerous reasons. if all girls took it, there'd be bugger all kids in the world

i think i missed the big boobs side effect and was only hit with the gaining 6kg in a week and having an extremely labile mood side effects.

i have a question about the pill - how careful should i be about he whole take it at the same time thing? like i mean i take it every night before i go to bed, but like, would an hour or so difference on some nights be a huge problem?

It really depends on the brand of pill (always make sure to read the little leaflet thing that comes in the box!!!). Some pills give you 1-3 hours leeway, others like mine give you 12 hours

Condoms and the pill is the most effective.

And Im sorry, I know some people swear to me they know people who have got pregnant while on the pill, I can't see how that can happen. If they take it every day you'll be protected, then when you take the sugar pills you are still protected because you are on your period.

Unless someone who has actually become pregnant tells me so, and how it happened, I still wont believe all these "I knew a girl who took it everyday and still got pregnant" stories.

It's actually possible to become preggers whilst having your period, say if ovulation happened a little early that month. I would think it's infinitely harder (not exactly sure where the egg would be, fallopian tubes because otherwise it'd get "washed away"?!?!) but it's definately possible.

And whilst the pill is supposed to stop ovulation totally, it's not 100% effective... one of my friends conceived recently whilst on the pill. Suprise baby!
